Sand Soft Dev is committed to delivering translations that meet professional standards. If a translation does not meet the quality standards specified in your order, we will correct it at no additional cost.
Full refund: If we are unable to complete the translation; if the translation is not delivered by the agreed deadline and you no longer need it; or if the translation contains errors that fundamentally affect its usability and we are unable to correct them within a reasonable timeframe. Partial refund: If the translation requires significant revision beyond what was originally scoped, we may offer a partial refund proportional to the impact. No refund: If you change your mind after delivery; if the source text was ambiguous or contained errors not flagged by you; or if you request revisions beyond the scope included in your plan without prior agreement.
Email info@sandsoftdev.com with subject "Refund Request" within 14 calendar days of delivery. Include: your order number, the specific issue, and (for quality claims) examples of the errors with your proposed corrections. We respond within 2 business days.
Refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method. Processing time: 5-10 business days. For corporate invoice clients: credit note issued within 5 business days.
If we disagree about translation quality, we will engage an independent third-party reviewer (a qualified translator not involved in the original project) to assess the disputed sections. Both parties agree to accept the independent reviewer's assessment. The cost of the independent review is borne by the party whose position is not supported by the assessment.
Sworn translations carry legal validity and are produced by MAEC-authorized translators. Refunds for sworn translations are only available if the translation contains factual errors (wrong name, wrong date, incorrect legal terminology). Stylistic preferences do not constitute grounds for refund of sworn translations.
Before translation begins: full refund. After translation begins: refund minus the cost of work completed. Rush orders: 25% cancellation fee after acceptance.
For consumers (as defined by Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007): the statutory 14-day withdrawal period applies to orders not yet begun. Once translation has commenced with your explicit consent, the withdrawal right is waived per Article 103(a) of the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
